Dog Training Center
Group Obedience Classes- All Breeds Welcome
This important (and FUN) class consists of four lessons and is open to puppies of all breeds eight to sixteen weeks of age. This puppy period is the most critical time in the life of your dog! If proper training and socialization occur now, you will have a happy and obedient dog in the future. During this class, we will allow plenty of time for your puppy to socialize with other puppies and people. Our puppy obstacle course builds self-confidence and promotes bonding. We begin laying a foundation of obedience work using motivational training techniques. We help with "issues" and how to stop unwanted behaviors (i.e. chewing, nipping, jumping, barking). There is always an opening class discussion with topics such as housebreaking, crate training, grooming. We conclude the class with a question and answer period.
Puppy Kindergarten is an ongoing class and is held every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. The cost is $80.
We require proof that you puppy is current on his/her Distemper Combo and Bordetella vaccine.
Please call us to register your puppy prior to attending.
This course is a MUST for every dog and their owner. Dogs that are obedience trained lead a happier life, and can become a closer member of your family once you have the proper control. This class is also a wonderful idea for past Basic Obedience graduates that may be in need of a tune-up! You will learn all about obedience training for your dog and how you can apply some very simple strategies that have a massive affect on the relationship your dog will have with you and the outside world. Class size will be limited to 14 dog/owner teams which will allow greater personal attention for you and your dog. This 6-week course (one day a week) is open to dogs of all breeds that are 5 months and older. We will focus on teaching your dog to pay attention to you, walk on a leash without pulling, heel, sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay and "come" on command. Time will also be made for questions and specific behavior problems you may be having with your dog. Proof of Rabies, Distemper Combo, and Bordetella vaccinations are required prior to start date.

Saturday mornings at 9:30am.

In-Kennel Training/ Bootcamp
The Landheim staff realizes some well intentioned owners may have neither time, patience, nor the inclination to train their dog. For these people we provide In-Kennel Training. Your dog is housed on our premises and professionally trained by our internationally recognized trainers. The minimum stay would begin at 5 days (Monday-Friday) for basic obedience training, but may be longer dependent on more advanced goals, the dogs ability to learn, or if the dog has an adverse temperament. Proof of Rabies, Distemper Combo, and Bordetella is required. A private lesson is included at the end of your pet's stay for you to learn how to work with your dog properly, and how to incorporate training into your daily lives.
Cost is $350 for 5 days (Monday-Friday) and is requested upon drop-off.
Please call for more information or to book your reservation.
